- Ensure hair is completely dry and detangled before use.
- Plug in the iron and select the temperature appropriate for your hair type and condition.
- Use a lower temperature for fine, fragile or color-treated hair, and gradually increase the heat for thicker or more resistant hair.
- Adjust the tension of the PrecisionGrip™ clamp according to hair type and desired hold.
- Section the hair.
- Place a strand between the barrel and the clamp, then wrap the hair around the barrel towards the roots.
- Hold for a few seconds depending on hair type and desired curl level, then gently release.
- Repeat on all hair, then let the curls cool before styling or brushing.
- Always apply a heat protectant before using a heated styling tool.
